Shadow of my heart

Took me forever to draw the pose xD No references but I did have to watch a few horse videos for the run. x_x
Anyways, on to the important stuff.

Temperment: Bold, somewhat easy to anger, smooth with the herd's mares but uneasy with foals and fillies.
Size: 15h

Storyline:
Born in the western parts of Europe, Shadow's dame was a prized show horse, quick over jumps and such. His father was good for shows involving dressage, and speed. Shadow, not so much. He never did tame to the hands of his trainers and when they attempted his first ride, the young stallion freaked. All hell broke loose.
After that, he was to be sold to a nearby working farm, as they hoped he would do well with the crop harvest. To no luck, however, as the farmer's kids were too rough with his hitching. He soon became ill and injured, and thus was taken from that place to be put in a new home yet again.
This time it was a basic ranch, where the horses were more like pets then tools or attractions. The man there was kind to his herd, but one day...
...he never came home. The old man had passed away and the horses were forgotten about. And as such, so was the ranch. One season went by and few were left, with such small bits of edible plants being left in their graze.
Shadow, being of a jumping mother, was the first to leap the fence into the feilds beyond the ranch, and soon after came three others who joined him...
Since then, they've been wild, gathering small groups and becoming the Western Europian Koze Herd.

Pretty good timeline for being off the top of my head, right?
