...and Kiara ran frantically away from the crowd, knowing too well that the plan would end and fail if she didn't hurry. Simba organizing the wedding that day was a bad twist in her plans with Zira. Other then that, all had gone well. That is, except for Nuka...
Claws scraped the rock as she leaped down into the gorge, and there he was; Nuka had been washed down by the river, freed from the logs. But now he lay thin and injured, a dead lump on the ground; then he moved. "Nuka!" She ran down, and in an instant, the older lion was up and standing, leaning on Kiara for sapport.
"...you came for me..."
"Of course, Nuka... If I didn't come..." A smile came to the lioness's face as she and Nuka nuzzled close. "...who else would?"
